For space and privacy, Iao Valley Inn offers the Maui Cottage and Gazebo.
Designed for two people, the Maui Cottage is a home away from home, with a king size bed, private bathroom, lounge area, and a full kitchen.
The covered lanai provides a place to relax in the sunshine, while the detached gazebo is a romantic spot to unwind. The Maui Cottage also includes a private hot tub!
The Iao Valley Inn Cottage is detached from the Orchid and Palms rooms.
It is ideal for absolute privacy, as both the Cottage and the Gazebo are nestled among the farmland.

The Iao Valley Inn is located in Wailuku, Central Maui. In fact, it’s on the edges of Wailuku, beside the Iao Stream and skirting the borders of the West Maui Mountains.
Wailuku, and Central Maui in general, lacks the vacation atmosphere that defines much of West and South Maui. There are no large resorts, limited hotels, and a significant residential population.
Central Maui also has fewer beaches: you’ll have to drive to the North Shore for a decent beach day.
However, it does come with a number of excellent restaurants, and the area is growing in popularity with visitors who want something different from the polish of the resort towns.
Closer to the Iao Valley itself than the center of Wailuku, the Iao Valley Inn feels quiet and peaceful, but is only a short drive from all the conveniences.
How Far Is Iao Valley Inn From The Airport?
Iao Valley Inn is around 6 miles from Kahului Airport, and you can expect the drive to take roughly 15 minutes. The Iao Valley Inn doesn’t have a shuttle service.
However, it does provide free parking to all guests, and as it’s a slightly isolated location, you’re likely to need a rental car to make the most of your stay.
Rental cars can be picked up from Kahului Airport, and parked on site.
How Far Is Iao Valley Inn From The Center Of Wailuku?
Wailuku center is less than a mile away from Iao Valley Inn.
Wailuku is home to multiple restaurants and cafés, as well as grocery stores and convenience stores.
Kahului is only 15 minutes from the Iao Valley Inn, and you can find even more shops and restaurants here.
