Guest rooms at the Plantation Inn use a mixture of bold decorations and classic architecture. Expect pineapples and flower prints alongside wooden furniture and Art Deco shapes.

There is no elevator, but many of the rooms are accessible on the first floor.
What Can You Do At The Plantation Inn?
In such an incredible location, just a short walk from Lahaina, the first thing to do is explore the historic Front Street. Use the self-guided historical walking trail to discover all the important sites of Lahaina.
When you’ve tired yourself out around Lahaina, head back to the Plantation Inn and enjoy a dip in the pool. Or spend some time in the outdoor jacuzzi. The private location includes shaded areas, where you can escape the heat of the Maui sun.
Of course, you want to spend some time on the sand. The Plantation Inn is located close to two beaches: Puamana and Launiupoko.
- Puamana is the more private of the two, with a thin strip of golden sand lapped at by blue waves. A great place to take a picnic, the summer swells are good for surfing.
- Launiupoko is a popular family beach, with a protected paddling area drawing those with young kids. On a weekday morning, the vibe is laid-back and carefree. Weekends get much busier, but stop by to grab a bite to eat from the Launiupoko farmers market across the road.
Want to try something different? There are numerous activities held at the Plantation Inn’s sister property, the Ka’anapali Beach Hotel.
At the Ka’anapali Beach Hotel, guests can learn crafts and cultural experiences based on the traditional Hawaii lifestyle. Plantation Inn guests are welcomed at the Ka’anapali Beach Hotel.
